Alilaguna runs the public water buses from Marco Polo airport to the historic centre of Venice. To get the bus, first buy your ticket from the ticket office inside the arrivals hall then walk to the vaporetto stop. It is about a 7 minute walk along a covered walkway. The public boats are at the far end of the quayside.

There are timetables for all routes on the website and you can book your ticket online - sometimes at a discount.

"Most convenient" way of going to Murano from Airport. But not to Venice :) It takes 1hr 20minutes to San Marco (3 miles or so) Unite with other people for a taxi boat instead.

DO NOT get a return ticket! While maybe worth the experience on the way to Venice, you don't want to miss your flight because of two full boats. Save yourself the angst and just take the bus back.

Cheap, yes. Comfortable, not at all. Better to book a private taxi or use other mode of transportation. Nauseating!!!
